PitSheet
The short version PitSheet keeps everything on your device. There is no account, no server, no analytics, no advertising, and nothing is sent to us or to anyone else.
  • Personal data collectedNone
  • Data transmitted to the developerNone
  • Third-party SDKs (analytics, crash, ads)None
  • PermissionsLocation, on request only

01Where your data is stored

Everything you enter in PitSheet, your bikes, setup sheets, tyre pressures, suspension settings, lap times and notes, is stored only on your device. It is not uploaded, synced or backed up by us. If you delete the app, that data is deleted with it, unless you have exported it yourself first.

Your device’s own backup (for example iCloud or Google backup) may include app data according to your device settings. That is between you and your device vendor; we have no access to it.

02Accounts

There are none. PitSheet has no sign-up, no login and no user identifiers. We do not know who uses the app.

03What we collect

Nothing. PitSheet does not collect personal data. It contains no analytics, no crash-reporting SDKs, no advertising and no tracking of any kind. No data is transmitted to the developer or to any third party. The app works entirely without a network connection.

04Location

PitSheet asks for location permission only when you tap “Detect circuit” on a sheet. When you do, your position is read once, on the device, and compared against the app’s built-in list of circuits to pick the nearest one and fill in the track name.

  • Your location is never stored, not even in the sheet. Only the circuit name is kept.
  • Your location is never transmitted anywhere.
  • If you never tap the button, the permission is never requested. You can also just type the track name.
  • You can revoke the permission at any time in your device settings; the rest of the app is unaffected.

05Sharing and exporting

Sharing a sheet as a code is something you start. The code is handed to your operating system’s share sheet, and where it goes from there (a message, an email, a notes app) is your choice and is handled by that app under its own terms. We never see the code.

Exports from Settings produce a file on your device, again only when you ask for it. What you do with the file is up to you.

06Children

PitSheet is not directed at children under 13 and, because it collects no data, it does not knowingly hold any information about anyone of any age.

07Changes to this policy

If the app ever changes in a way that affects this policy, we will update this page and the effective date above. Any version of PitSheet that starts transmitting data will say so plainly in the app before it does.
